Fortnite Week 2 - HighPoly

 This week I really locked in on this project. I started out with defining the body more and actually making it look like Rogue. I spent around 4 to 5 hours in total because I got so focused on defining muscle groups, trying to get the most accurate proportions I could and quite frankly, I really love this stage of sculpting.  Then, I crashed and burned when it came to making the head. This by it's self was a whole milestone, and I can see why, as it's what the audience pays most attention to, it's the "money maker". I made three different head's in total before I landed on one I actually liked enough to further expand on.  (Left is my first head and Right is my final head)  The most challenging part with this stage was definitely making the eyes and mouth. The eyes because shaping them correctly to the character's look, and mouth more so because the mouth-bag, which I hadn't done before. Turns out, sculpting lips to fit together after you've alrea...

Fortnight Project Introduction - Week 1

 Hello Hello! It's been a hot minute but I'm back with another "big" project. For this assignment, my instructor gave us the parameters that our character must be someone existing within the fortnight universe, and that we gotta match their distinct style!  so...I've chosen the one and only, as well as one of my favorite X-men, ROGUE!!!     This page will go over my process around week one of work, starting on the weekend before because, to be honest, I'm too excited to wait until class starts.    That brings me to the first stage of any project...compiling a reference board.   I used PureRef to store my reference images in, and basically put what I thought I'd need for the initial blocking out stage, I'll add anything I might need later on in the process.  This part of the process took me around 30 minutes to complete.     Now...It's time to open up Zbrush and get to blocking, or what I like to dub, the "Monster Stage"  Here's...
